Kew Courtyard

A narrow side return turned into something worth walking through. Round steppers run the length of the courtyard, set into pale gravel that keeps the whole space low-maintenance and calm. An olive does the heavy lifting up top, silver foliage against the warm render while the border builds out underneath it: grasses, pratia, a few flowering perennials left loose enough to read as natural rather than planted. A concrete vessel sits in among it all. Small space, but it's got room to breathe.
